Today's world is one of the immense progress in information technology. Still, the unprecedented progress made by human mind well into this hour of 21st century paradoxically betrays certain developments in reverse direction. It is like a lamp casting its darkness below. What is saddening amid this euphoria of advancements in information technology is the way in which the implements of science have been used to push man into the blind alley of perversion and hopelessness. Every components of audio vidual medium have been operationalized to alienate people from the fellow humans. Yet, amid untold troubles and concerns besetting humanity, there is always some undiminished illumination of hope. Beyond this crass rat race of quotidian life, humanity is still in some unwavering pursuit of beauty.

Social media is the most important media of our present time. This media, even as they enjoy burgeoning popularity, is not without its faults. At times, however, exhibitionism, unnecessary eloquence, redundant and pointless gossip seem to detract it from its sacrosanct social function. Aharah is our sincere endeavour to fight such popular propensities of media in order to carve out a dynamic and artistic way through which we can carry forward our social thought and intellectual intercourse. Aharah will be a non political platform that builds up a climate of healthy, intellectual engagements over affairs happening across such diverse terrains as culture, sports, even everyday life in our contemporary world. We must heartily welcome all these into this platform who wish to strengthen the bond of universal brotherhood without losing their root.
